It was such an amazing balance and combination of yoga and holiday relaxation. "This is a fabulous retreat with a perfect balance of yoga and free time. Kirsty's Kundalini teaching is exceptional allowing an opportunity to immerse yourself in transformation. The free time spent down at the beach and exploring the beautiful town of Lagos. The food is amazing, nutritious and tasty. All spent with a group of lovely people. “I attended the June 2024 Yoga retreat in Portugal. I was nervous beforehand because I have recently found movement more challenging due to stiffening as I have gotten older. I found however that the twice daily sessions of Kundalini Yoga were just what my mind and body needed. Kirsty led the sessions brilliantly and with compassion. I was able to do the vast majority of the movements and Kirsty always offers an alternative position if someone struggles with a particular posture. By the end of the week my body felt so much better, almost as if I was 5 years younger! The food was marvellously crafted by Chef Julie, it was interesting, filling and above all nutritious. The location was superb, quiet and with comfortable rooms, vast gardens, a dedicated Yoga space and a cooling swimming pool. The beach was close enough to walk to, a large supermarket 5 minutes stroll away and town nearby (but not too nearby). There were 14 of us on the retreat and we all quickly gelled as a group and I would happily go on retreat with them again.” Alistair, June 2024

“Since my first Kundalini Yoga class with Kirsty I have been absolutely hooked! I was completely new to Kundalini yoga and was unsure about what to expect. Kirsty has such a warm nature and makes you feel nothing but welcomed and supported right from the start, her teaching is clear informative and concise. A great part of this class is each week is new Kriya which is great for people like me with short attention spans as it keeps you engaged and nothing becomes repetitive. Tuesday has officially become my favourite day of the week at the end of every class I leave feeling calmer, more positive and more in tune with myself physically, mentally and emotionally. It makes you feel great!”

This helps to understand some of the practices that you’d be less likely to come across if you’ve previously practiced other forms of yoga. The classes are challenging in all the right ways. I feel I get a great workout, without the atmosphere being in any way competitive. I highly recommend the class to anyone, no matter their experience levels.”
